Q1. When will the scheme become available?
The scheme is currently being piloted at a number of ABC member walls. It is hoped that the scheme will be launched nationally in the early part of 2008.
Q2. Do I need to be an ABC member wall to deliver the scheme?
No, the scheme will be available to all UK climbing centres irrespective of ABC membership.
Q3. Can I deliver all levels of the scheme?
It is anticipated that most climbing walls will be able to deliver levels one and two as a minimum. Levels three to four will be dependent upon facilities and instructing staff. Only NICAS primary centres will be able to deliver level five.
Q4. Is the scheme open to all ages?
Yes, however, the scheme has been developed primarily for young people under 18 years of age.
