Bouldering Qualification Seminar
2023 Partners' Seminar Series - Mountain Training Bouldering Qualification
Update: Recording Available
7 June 2023: Thank you to everyone who joined us live for the Partners Seminar in May on the new bouldering qualification. If you weren’t able to make it on the day, you can now
watch the recording on the ClimbScotland YouTube Channel.

NICAS and our partners are excited to usher in the second talk in our 2023 Partners' Seminar Series, about the Mountain Training Bouldering Qualification: Content & Pathway.
- Date: Thursday 4 May 2023
- Time: 10.00am to 11.30am
In this seminar, Mountain Training representative Guy Jarvis will share an update on the results of the bouldering qualification survey earlier this year, talk through the intentions and history behind the idea of the qualification, and provide an overview of the current coaching pathway.
We will then open for a discussion - hosted by Robert MacKenzie of ClimbScotland - in which we encourage attendees to participate around the proposed content and pathway for the bouldering qualification.
No booking required - advance booking isn't required and the seminar link will be made available on our social media shortly. (Check for updates on
Instagram,
Facebook or
Twitter) Once again, the seminar will be recorded for those not able to make it on the day.
We look forward to seeing you on Zoom on 4 May from 9.50am onwards!
If you have any questions about the seminar, or you're wondering whether it's right for you, please do get in touch with us or one of our partners.
