Book a NICAS Support Call

Photo of Graham Little climbing at an indoor wallWe would like to start the new year by offering a little extra support to our fantastic accredited centres. If something about your NICAS sessions doesn't feel right or is preventing you from progressing climbers, if you need guidance on structuring sessions, upskilling your team, preparing to deliver higher levels or anything else related to running NICAS, we are offering you a dedicated support call with Graham from our Coach Development Team to get NICAS sessions running optimally at your wall. These 30 minute sessions will be free of charge for personnel at our accredited centres.

As a NICAS Technical Expert and member of the Coach Development Team (CDT), Graham Little (see photo) has vast knowledge and experience gained as a NICAS Course Director, Technical Advisor, NICAS coach and CDT trainer. You'll regularly find Graham running online inductions for all four of our schemes, where his expertise and insight have been invaluable answering technical and operational questions from wall managers and NICAS coaches. As well as being a Mountain Training course provider, he is also one of the directors at Outdoor Education NW, which provides activity programmes and courses, including NICAS Climbing programmes, for a wide range of schools and colleges.

We have released 30-minute slots on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 10 January onwards at the following times:

  • Wed 10th January: 9am, 9.45am, 10.30am, 11.15am
  • Thu 11th January: 9am, 9.45am, 10.30am, 11.15am
  • Wed 17th January: 9am, 9.45am, 10.30am, 11.15am
  • Thu 18th January: 9am, 9.45am, 10.30am, 11.15am
  • Wed 24th January: 9am, 9.45am, 10.30am, 11.15am
  • Thu 25th January: 9am, 9.45am, 10.30am, 11.15am
  • Wed 31st January: 9am, 9.45am, 10.30am, 11.15am
  • Thu 1st February: 9am, 9.45am, 10.30am, 11.15am

Support calls will take place on Zoom (unless requested otherwise), and bookings will close at 1pm the day before.

To check availability and book your support call, go to our appointment bookings page, and jump to the next available date. Click on the appointment time, fill in the short booking form including a summary of your reason for requesting the support call, then click Book. You will receive a Booking Confirmation email shortly after and you will receive the Zoom joining instructions the day before.

What is a Cookie

Log files

Log files allow us to record visitors’ use of the site. The CMS puts together log file information from all our visitors, which we use to make improvements to the layout of the site and to the information in it, based on the way that visitors move around it. Log files do not contain any personal information about you. If you receive the HTML-formatted version of a newsletter, your opening of the newsletter email is notified to us and saved. Your clicks on links in the newsletter are also saved. These and the open statistics are used in aggregate form to give us an indication of the popularity of the content and to help us make decisions about future content and formatting.
