NICAS Bouldering Level 2

The NICAS Bouldering logbook is where the assessment criteria are listed and where coaches can sign off progress for each candidate.

It should be noted (and candidates/parents/carers should have it explained) that there are a number of skills being learnt throughout NICAS that are not listed as distinct assessment criteria but are still essential skills for learning to climb, including, communication with climbing partners and coaches, basic climbing movement, and participation in warm ups and cool downs.

NICAS Bouldering coaches should all be given access to the resources on this NICAS Pro site to help with advice, ideas and tips for delivery of this scheme.
