Only named contacts are able to deliver the NICAS schemes. We require that NICAS coaches have a defined level of training, induction, and work for an accredited facility, in order to teach NICAS and be listed on our systems.
Please note: NICAS coaches are accredited to provide NICAS courses. Individuals and centres who provide NICAS are not agents, employees or franchisees of NICAS. Accredited centre business activities are independent, and are neither owned nor operated by NICAS. While NICAS establishes the standards for NICAS syllabi, it is not responsible for, nor does it have the right to control, the operation of the business activities and the day-to-day conduct of NICAS awards, and supervision of climbers by accredited centres or their associated staff.
